Hanuman Mandir

Shri Sai Baba had a special bond with Shri Hanuman (Maruti) and would stand facing Shri Hanuman’s idol while on his way to the Chavadi from Dwarkamai in procession.

There are two Shri Hanuman (Maruti) idols in the Hanuman temple at Shirdi. There is a legend that one Hanuman (Maruti) idol was brought from Biragaon. The people of Biragaon village were not taking good care of the Hanuman (Maruti) idol in their village So Shri Sai Baba decided to bring it to Shirdi.
